NewPort Capital, an independent private equity firm based in Amsterdam, invests in mid-market companies in the Netherlands. Their focus is on companies with a proven track record, significant growth potential, and ambitious, strong management teams. Target companies are usually active in B2B and B2C markets, including sectors such as software, data & technology, business or financial services, manufacturing, and food & packaging. NewPort Capital has invested in various food sector enterprises, including Cold Care Group, the leading producer of modular insulated construction for refrigerated stores. These stores are indispensable for the storage and preservation of food.
3. Nordian Capital Partners (Amsterdam)
Nordian Capital Partners, headquartered in Amsterdam, is an investment firm that was created in 2014 through the merger of Rabobank Capital and Friesland Bank Investments. The investment company has played a significant role in the food sector, specifically in the field of aquatic nutrition. Notably, Nordian Capital Partners invested in Coppens International, an innovative and high-quality business specializing in aquatic nutrition products for the aquaculture and hobby segments. Established in 1993, Coppens International has manufactured a variety of fish feed products.
