Another interesting company in their portfolio is Cyclarity Therapeutics, that targets age-related conditions like heart-attacks and strokes with medication to combat arterial plaque build up.
3. EIR Ventures (Sweden)
Eir Ventures focuses on investments in private life science companies in the Nordic area. The company is supported by local and international investors as well as by Nordic universities. Eir Ventures is looking to improve healthcare systems, patient outcomes and society. They work closely with their portfolio companies, such as Henlez, who use enzymes to improve skin conditions or Synklino. Synklino’s mission for example is to develop a new treatment to decrease virus infections in transplant patients.
