1. Cobepa (Brussels)

Cobepa, short for Compagnie Belge de Participations, is a prominent private equity firm based in Belgium. Since 2004 the company has made 93 successful transactions and manages over €4.4B assets. One of Cobepa’s distinguishing characteristics is its patient capital approach. The firm takes a long-term view on investments, allowing companies to pursue sustainable growth strategies and achieve their full potential. Currently, Cobepa employs 45 professionals and has 20 portfolio companies. Portfolio companies include Socotec, a business service solution, Precision Orthopedics, and Reaction Biology.

2. Finco (Antwerpen)

Finco is a private equity firm based in Belgium, known for its active investment approach and successful track record in the financial industry. As a specialized private equity firm, Finco primarily targets companies operating within the financial sector, including banking, insurance, asset management, and fintech. One of their portfolio companies, for example, is Ideal Systems, who provide software and services to call centres and customer contact centres.

3. Integra (Gent)

Integra is a private equity fund that offers investors a platform for private equity investments. The company, therefore, combines investments in local SMEs and in international private equity funds with direct investments in international companies in cooperation with these funds. Integra’s investment portfolio spans various sectors, including technology, manufacturing, services, and consumer goods. The company has announced that in 2023 the fund size will be increased from €175M to over €250M.
