List of 3 renewables private equity funds from France [2023]

By investing 6 Billion € in renewable energy in 2021, the French government aims to raise support for renewables by 25%. The country’s energy mix is to be further diversified, and by 2028, installed renewable electricity capacity will have doubled to 113 GW.

Such as the Portuguese renewable gas producer and retailer Rega Energy completed a 17-million fundraising round supported by sustainable fund SWEN Capital Partners and Elyse Energy. The mentioned financial support is supposed to accelerate the development of biomethane and hydrogen industrial activity in Portugal.

3. Antin Infrastructure Partners (Paris)

Antin Infrastructure Partners, headquartered in the capital of France, is known as leading leading independent private equity firm focusing on infrastructure investments. The company aligns its forces on energy and environment, digital, transportation, and social sectors. To drive forward the sustainable transition Antin created Antin Solar Investments a platform for investments in the solar photovoltaic sector in Italy. The solar plants located in several Italian cities currently total 77.2 MW.
